GIDSR actively encourages extra- curricular and co- curricular activities for the wholesome development of the dental student. The campus is well appointed for sporting and cultural activities. Both physical and mental wellbeing of the student is given utmost importance. Our students are also encouraged to participate in various intercollegiate sporting and cultural events. We organize cultural shows, games and other sporting events.

The campus has facility such as volley ball court, badminton court, cricket ground and a gymnasium with state-of-the-ant equipments. There are also facilities for table tennis, Caroms, Chess and Ludo. Separate yoga rooms are provided in the boys Hostel.

We also organize Graduation and Awards Ceremony. The meritorious students of our Institute are awarded medals and certificate. Cash awards are given to I, II and III positions in various subjects in the university examinations.
