About the Department
Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge is one of the major departments of any dental college. Teaching of this department starts from the very first year of admission. The department is having pre-clinical section to teach and train 1st & 2nd B D S students in the subject of Dental Materials and Pre Clinical-Prosthodontics respectively.
The P. G. Clinic is having State-of-Art facilities where Post Graduate students are train them to treat the cases with the Maxillofacial Defects, Special Prosthesis and Implants cases along with the routine Prosthodontic procedures.
Implant dentistry has occupied a serious space in pg training curriculum under the guidance of renowned team of implantologists. The clinical implantology is at par excellence.The management has taken extra-ordinary pain to create learning and student friendly environment, a perfect temple of learning.
To enrich the teaching, well established Departmental Library and Museum have been established as an integral part of the Department.

The department also has fully equiped Ceramic (Metal Ceramic & All Ceramic) and Metal casting laboratories.
The Department of Prosthodontics is equipped with equipments like Die Cutter and Die Pindex system, Heavy Duty Polishing with High suction machine, Vacuum die investment mixer, Swivel surveyor and Induction Casting machines.
